Originally from Long Island, New York, Talia Nieto, PA-C specializes in Family Medicine and holds a Bachelor of Science from Sacred Heart University and a Master’s degree from Marist University.
Inspired by watching her grandparents age and rely on compassionate healthcare providers, she pursued a career in medicine with the goal of making a meaningful difference in the lives of others. She is passionate about preventive care, building lasting patient relationships, and empowering individuals to take an active role in their health and well-being.
At JCMC, she values the opportunity to develop meaningful connections with her patients and believes that quality healthcare begins with trust, open communication, and personalized care. She strives to create a welcoming environment where every patient feels heard, respected, and supported throughout their healthcare journey.
A strong advocate for healthy lifestyles, she often encourages patients to “keep moving,” emphasizing that simple activities like walking and small, consistent lifestyle changes can make a lasting impact on overall health. She also believes regular checkups and preventive care are essential to maintaining long-term wellness.
Her passion for helping others extends beyond the clinic, having volunteered at a summer camp for children with diabetes, where she gained valuable insight into the importance of individualized care and supporting patients in managing chronic conditions.
Outside of work, she enjoys staying active, traveling, exploring new places, trying new recipes, and spending quality time with family and friends.
