JCMC Urgent Care

 

 

JUC Hours: OPEN EVERYDAY Monday-Saturday 10:00am to 8:00pm and Sunday 10:00am to 6:00pm

• Walk in Urgent Care appointments after 6pm will be based on patient volume and provider coverage    
• A patient may be advised to seek Emergency Care based on the severity of their symptoms 
• Medical advice will not be provided prior to being registered at the front desk. 
• Aggressive behavior of any kind will not be tolerated. Pt will be asked to leave the property and is subject to being discharged from practice.  
• New patients to JCMC/AMM will not be accepted after 6:00 pm due to new patient paperwork requirements 

Urgent Care is focused on treating patients in need of urgent medical attention for MINOR non-life-threatening conditions, illnesses, and injuries, such as: 

• Upper respiratory infections 
• Colds and flu 
• Ear and eye infections 
• Gastrointestinal issues 
• Allergic reactions 
• Sprains, Fractures and dislocations (Minor fractures and similar injuries are appropriate to manage here if it is reasonable to wait for send-out imaging and treatment. However, true joint dislocations require resources we do not have on site, such as sedation or in-house X-ray, and therefore cannot be appropriately treated at this location.)
• Minor Cuts, wounds, lacerations, abscesses and burns 
• Urinary tract infections (UTIs) 
• Respiratory infections 

Urgent Care does NOT provide the following: 

• Workmen’s comp. 
• Drug screening 
• Physicals/Sports physicals  
• Immunizations 
• Car accidents prior to being seen at ED 
• Physical/sexual assault 
• Gynecological exams, birth control management 
• RX refills  
• Pain Management  
• FMLA
