Alexander Chavez, MD

Dr. Alexander Chavez has over twenty-five years of experience in practicing family medicine. He is a member of the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Chavez attended the University of Michigan School of Medicine where he earned his M.D. He received his residency training in family medicine at the U.S. Naval Hospital located in Jacksonville, Florida. Prior to joining the Jacksonville Children’s and Multispecialty Clinic, P.A. he practiced at the East Carolina Internal Medicine and the Cape Fear Valley Health System. He is licensed by the North Carolina Medical Board and has been with the Jacksonville Children’s and Multispecialty Clinic since 2006.

Dr. Chavez sees patients at JCMC Cary Wellness and JCMC Swansboro Childrens and Family Care.
