It is with great sadness that we announce the departure of Katie Alwes, FNP. After six years with Jacksonville Children’s and Multispecialty Clinic, Katie has decided to pursue some new opportunities. She wishes to thank all of the families at Sneads Ferry who have trusted her with their healthcare. Her last day in clinic will be Friday July 5^th. Dr. Mary Louise Wisniewski and Cindy Compeggie, NP will continue to provide care for all of our pediatric patients.

As always JCMC is dedicated to the continuing care of you and your family. To support the clinic during this transition, JCMC will be bringing in providers from our Jacksonville campus. If you have any questions about scheduling, prescriptions, referrals or any other matter, please reach out to our Sneads Ferry office at 910-327-5437.

Dear JCMC Patients,

We are pleased to announce that Jennifer Schofield, FNP, will be transitioning from our Family Care Clinic to our Sneads Ferry Clinic. Jennifer is a dedicated healthcare professional with a passion for providing personalized care to patients of all ages. With over a decade of experience in nursing and family medicine, she brings a wealth of expertise to our team.

Jennifer began her healthcare journey in 2012, earning her Associate Degree in Nursing. She gained critical care experience in the Emergency Room and later pursued advanced education, earning her BSN in 2018 and MSN-FNP in 2019. She is board certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).

Originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Jennifer now resides in North Carolina with her family. She enjoys spending quality time at the beach with her husband and two daughters. Jennifer’s empathetic and compassionate approach makes her a trusted partner in her patients’ health journeys, and she is committed to providing the highest standard of care.

We look forward to the continued high level of care and service that Jennifer will provide at our Sneads Ferry Clinic. Please join us in welcoming her to the Sneads Ferry community!
