Pediatrics

We provide comprehensive pediatric treatment and care at the Jacksonville, Swansboro, Sneads Ferry, Cape Carteret, Wilmington and Richland locations. We are open 7 days a week at the Jacksonville location.

Our physicians prescribe oral fluoride supplementation starting at age 6 months for children whose water supply is deficient in fluoride. Once your child has a tooth, your doctor will recommend that your child receive fluoride varnish treatments in the pediatrician’s office to help prevent tooth decay. This can be done 2 to 4 times per year. The number of treatments depends on how likely it is that your child may get a cavity.

Please pre-register at our clinic if you are expecting a new addition to your family, and feel you may need the services of one of our physicians at the time of delivery.

Young patients who require hospitalization are admitted to Onslow Memorial Hospital where they get 24/7 coverage. All our Pediatricians are board-certified and have privileges to manage patients admitted to the pediatric floor, neonatal nurseries and the emergency room. Our pediatric neonatology staff attends all C-Sections and high-risk newborn deliveries. For a prenatal consultation with one of our Neonatologists, please call 910 353-3200.
