Nancy F. Melling, FNP

Meet Nancy F. Melling, a seasoned Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with an impressive background in healthcare. Graduating with a Master’s of Science in Nursing from Duke University School of Nursing in 1998, Nancy has been a devoted FNP for over two decades.

Residing in New Bern with her husband, Nancy has been dedicated to serving the Jacksonville community through her work in the Emergency Department of Onslow Memorial Hospital. Over the years, she has developed a deep affection for the Jacksonville community and the families she cares for, particularly cherishing her pediatric patients, some of whom are the second generation under her watch.

Outside of her profession, Nancy has a flair for creativity and hobbies, including sewing for her grandchildren, indulging in cross-stitching, nurturing her garden, and volunteering. Her culinary skills are well-known, and she enjoys exploring the unbeaten paths of National Parks through her travels. With an ardent love for gardening, Nancy cultivated a flourishing vegetable garden, and now she joyfully shares its abundant harvest with patients, nourishing not just their bodies but also their spirits.

Currently, Nancy Melling attends to patients at JCMC Pediatrics in Jacksonville, where she continues to contribute her expertise and heartfelt care to the well-being of the community’s families.
