In her own words, “What I love about my job is the enormous responsibility that comes with it. Parents place their trust in me, and it’s a blessing to be a part of their children’s lives, contributing to their health and happiness.”

Katie’s advice to parents reflects her empathetic nature and parental wisdom: “Trust your intuition. As a fellow parent, you know your child best. While our time together is brief, your instincts play a crucial role. If you sense something isn’t right, share your concerns. Your role as a parent is pivotal. Also, take a breath and savor the journey. Childhood flies by, and I encourage parents to embrace every precious moment.”

Beyond her medical role, Katie unveils a surprising facet – a former motorcycle enthusiast. Her father’s legacy led her to embark on adventurous journeys, riding a 750 Honda Shadow American Classic Edition, aptly named Pickle. Exploring the Great Lakes, camping, and forging unforgettable memories, Katie defies stereotypes, proving that extraordinary stories often emerge from unexpected places.
