Dr. Nutz has been featured in a book that is dedicated to small town family physicians.

His entire story can be reviewed in a book called “Caring for the Country” by Howard K. Rabinowitz. “I enjoyed my OB rotations, I enjoyed my internal medicine rotations in the hospital, I really enjoyed my family practice rotations. I couldn’t see myself just being a surgeon, and as for internal medicine, they didn’t see kids, and I felt like that’s not medicine, if you can’t take care of children. So, family practice just seemed to have all the components. And of course, the family practice department was very supportive.” Excerpt from Caring for The Country: Family Doctors in Small Rural Towns.

Dr. Nutz sees patients at JCMC Morehead.
